Glimpses of double-yellow lines, a television aerial and a modern conservatory have all caused apoplexy in the past, and most recently it was suggested their table settings are all wrong. But doubtless this well-funded new series will redouble its efforts to deliver a view of 1920s Britain unsullied by pesky anachronisms. |
